Healing the heart authentically means learning to forgive those who have hurt us the most. I am in the process of doing just that, and for someone who isn't even asking for it. Like today, somedays it sucks. Stumbling upon this quote today felt a little bit like a nudge from the universe, telling me to hang in there.

Healing, forgiveness, compassion.

Feeling compassion for those who have wronged us + forgiving past abuse = healing authentically.

Sometimes we spend all of our time focusing on the loss we feel, the love we don't have, the things we don't possess. It takes up the space in our brain and we forget to think about all of the good and luck and love that surrounds us. Today I am honoring the beauty and love in my life.
